reproduction of Limonium and soil moisture were measured to test the differences under different site conditions in order to improve the management of Limonium planataion. [Methods] Four different types of dunes were selected to research the growth
reproduction and moisture of Limonium. [Results] (1) Limonium growth and reproductive characteristics had significant differences under different types of sand dune in above ground biomass
height
crown width and density; (2) For all types of dune
reproductive tillers per plant and flower numbers had significantly correlation; (3) Soil moistures planted with Limonium in different types of sand dune were different obviously
but no significant differences in profile were found
and soil moistures among inter-dunes were also insignificant. [Conclusion] The inter-dune ground is suitable for Limonium growth in desert habitats.
