a vulnerability assessment system for urban rivers are established so as to provide a reference for the use and protection of urban rivers.By taking Chanba River as the research object
the vulnerability of the river is analyzed by choosing several appropriate evaluation indexes
using entropy method to determine the weights
and applying fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Results show that the area below Maduwang and Changjiawan has the highest vulnerability
whereas other places have low vulnerability.The established system can systematically reflect the vulnerability of urban rivers and make some develpment in the research on the vulnerability of water resources.The method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is simple and can objectively reflect the current and potential vulnerabilities of rivers.Therefore
the method can be used for vulnerability assessment of urban rivers.
