Abstract

By the observation

analysis and appraisement to the main herbs and bushes planted inthe loess slope road of Wangdong gully

we advanced a general principle of selecting herbs andbushes to control road erosion;suggested a suitable plantting pattern of those herbs and bushes;summarized a practical skill for biological erosion control measures;and analysed the ecologicaland economic benefit of the measures
