and small mouth wells. All of those were connected to be a soil and water conservation engineering system of upland by settling tanks; (2) To plant trees and grasses persistently

to use soil resources effectively

and build terraces

deeply plough soil

spread technique of contour cultivation

control erosion; (3) To build wells storage and irrigation system

to use surface water and groundwater sufficiently. It is the best way to resolve the deficiency of water in arid area of upland.
