great achievements have been made in social and economic development and land productivity improvement.The experiences from and problems identified in the construction and operation of sediment-storage dams in Jiuyuangou catchment can provide scientific and technical support and guidance for the construction of sediment-storage dams in the loess hilly and gully areas in the future.
