Effects of Different Slope Positions on Physiological Indexes of Reaumuria Soongorica
[Objective] The objective of this article was to research the effects of standing condition with respect to slope position on some physiological indexes of Reaumuria soongorica
to provide theoretical basis for the restoration and reconstruction of Reaumuria soongorica in arid and semi arid area.[Methods] The study selected Reaumuria soongorica under natural conditions as experimental material
and some physiological indexes of Reaumuria soongorica grew on different slopes were measured by field and laboratory test.[Results] In the upward of slope position
physiological indexes in Reaumuria soongorica leaves changed as followed:① The chlorophyll (a
b
c) contents of Reaumuria soongorica leaves decreased. ② The proline and soluble sugar contents increased
while soluble protein content firstly decreased then increased. ③ The activity of SOD increased firstly and then decreased; the activity of CAT was on the contrary; and the activity of POD and MDA content showed gradually decreasing trends. ④ Nitrate reductase activity increased gradually with the increase of slope positions; while the content of free amino acids increased gradually.[Conclusion] When growing on different slope positions
Reaumuria soongorica adapt to the habitat change mainly by regulating chlorophyll content
