Effect of Multifactor Water Retention Measures on Soil Moisture and Afforestation Survival Rate in Semi-arid Area
Selecting the subsidence area of Shenfu-Dongsheng Mining area as the experimental samples
using the orthogonal test
the authors analyzed the effect of water content and survival rate of covering materials
water-retaining agent application amount and fertilizer ratio were analyzed. The results showed that:the influences of covering materials
water-retaining agent application amount and fertilizer ratio on survival rate and soil moisture content of Amygdalus pedunculata Pall. were significant different
and the order of influence degree was:covering material >water-retaining agent application amount >fertilizer ratio. Under water retention measures which including plastic film mulching
water-retaining agent(60 g)
ration of local soil and fertilizer(4:1)
soil moisture content was up to 17.11%
and A. Pedunculata Pall. reached the highest survival rate of 80.5%. Soil moisture content of no water measures was 8.59%
and survival rate was just only 30.13%. The best water retention technique measures combination for A. Pedunculata Pall. was:plastic film mulching with water-retaining agent(60 g) and fertilizer ratio(4:1).
