Analysis of Soil Erosion Tendency in the Liaohe River Basin Using Remote Sensing and GIS
Resources and environment databases for the middle and lower reaches of the Liaohe River basin have been built on the basis of results produced by the national ninth-year-planning technology project. Soil erosion in the basin is analysed using remotely sensed images and the spatial functions of a geographical information system (GIS).
