Ecological Problems and Restoration Measures of Baiyangdian Wetland
The Baiyangdian wetland is the biggest freshwater lake in North China. However
its ecological environment deteriorates seriously and the lake is drying up.This paper carefully analyses the present ecological environment state of the lake and the problems it faces
such as the decrease in water volume
deposition of mud and sand
decrease of biological diversity and increase of pollution
and an ecological restoration plan and specific protection measures are put forward.
