Spatiotemporal Variation of Solar Radiation and Sunshine Hours in Shaanxi Province
The variation characteristics of global solar radiation and sunshine hours in Shaanxi Province are analyzed. Total solar radiation and sunshine hours in Shaanxi Province show a consistently decreasing trend from north to south. The Weibei Plateau area is the second high-value area of global solar radiation and sunshine hours. April to August in North Shaanxi Province and May to August in Guanzhong and South Shaanxi Province are the best period for the use of solar energy resources. Result from the study is useful in understanding regional climate change
