Spatial Analysis of Soil Erosion in Buhahe Watershed Based on RS and GIS
The technologies of RS and GIS were applied to obtain the five evaluation factors including annual precipitation
annual temperature
slope
elevation
and land cover within the Buhahe basin.With spatial modeling and analysis
we obtained spatial distribution of soil erosion within the basin and classified soil erosion into different classes.The results showed that in the study area
the total area of soil erosion was 14 337 km2
of which mild and moderate erosion were dominant
accounting for 54.88% and 20.51% of the total eroded area
respectively.A small portion of the basin has experienced severe erosion
