Abundance Index of Soil Nutrients and Ratio of Available Nitrogen to Available Phosphorus in Linwei District of Shaanxi Province
The present situation of soil nutrients〔include available nitrogen(AN)
available phosphorus(AP)and available kalium(AK)〕in Linwei District was investigated by analyzing soil samples collected from 4 108sampling sites and using domain method to identify the outliers and optimal Kriging interpolation.Meanwhile
the nutrient abundance index for wheat
corn and cotton was determined by the experimental datafrom 2007to 2008.Results indicated that the demand of crop growth for AN was nearly satisfied
exceptthat only 0.09%of cropland showed AN deficiency for the wheat and 0.86%of cropland
for corn and cotton.The content of AP was relatively low
especially in the middle of Xiaji Town
the east of GuandaoTown
the north of Xiaoyi Town
the northwest and southeast of Fengyuan Town and the west of YangguoTown.The demand of wheat and corn for AK was fulfilled but that of cotton was unsatisfied
especially inthe west and north of Yangguo Town.The mean ratio of AN to AP was 4:1
representing an imbalancestate.Therefore
it is necessary to increase the amounts of AN and AP through applying AP by specific yieldand applying AN by the applied AP.
