伊克昭盟位于内蒙古自治区西南部

西与宁夏接壤

南倚长城毗邻陕北

东隔黄河与山西相望。西、北、东三面濒临黄河

流长842公里

属黄河中游水土流失区。全盟总面积86

381平方公里(乌海市除外)。水土流失面积约有31

216平方公里

主要分布于准格尔旗、达拉特旗、东胜、伊金霍洛四个旗(县)。河流最大含沙量高达1

侵蚀模数为1
