近几十年来，科学技术日新月异，突飞猛进。反映在科学研究和高等教育上，知识陈旧率加快

新科学不断涌现，应接不暇。当前，水土保持学科不断地向精、深、细方向分化，产生的新学科越来越多。但从历史上来看，学科的分和合总是向其对立面转化。“合久必分，分久必合”。学科的综合目前无疑是个重要动向。尤其是水土保持学科，它是一门横断学科，是一门综合性很强的学科。就我们研究所近26年研究课题进展及效率分析来看，跨学科综合课题无疑是取得重大成果的途径。如果只有分没有合，那么一万
