摘要

“你们今后指导农业工作的重心，必须明确，就是要发动千家万户、千军万马

种草种树，发展牧业。就是要多想草木，多做草木之梦。”读了胡耀邦总书记这篇《讲话》，受到极大的鼓舞，对我们的工作是极大支持。现将高羊茅草引种试验初报于下，为编写《草木百家姓》推荐一个优良草种。高羊茅草(Festuca arundinacea)是1980年由山西农业科学院土壤肥料研究所引入的多年生禾本科牧草，来源于美国。
