摘要

旱地占我国耕地(15亿亩)的52%左右，绝大部分位于我国北方半干旱及半湿润易旱区，年降水量在350—650毫米左右。西北又是我国旱地农业的集中分布区，旱地一般占耕地的70—80%以上。因此，提高旱地作物产量不仅对西北地区，而且对华北地区改变贫困面貌，实现粮食自给有余，迎接我国经济建设重点在本世纪末或下世纪初向西北转移、工农业总产值翻两番，都具有重要的战略意义。西北半干旱地区是我国粮食低产区，目前大面积旱作产量仍在100斤/亩左右徘徊。对其低产原因，多年来一直存在着不少争论，有的说是旱、薄、粗，有的说是薄、粗、
