一、概况杏子河是延河的一级支流

位于北纬36°46′—37°31′和东径108°41′—109°21′之间

属于黄土高原丘陵区。河流总长106.54公里

流域东西长62.5公里

南北宽57.5公里。海拔最高点1

795.6米(三架梁)

最低点1

010米(杏子河出口处)

相对高差200—300米。流域总面积1

486.10平方公里(折合222.9万多亩)

包括靖边县五里湾、大路沟

志丹县张渠、杏河、候市

安塞县王瑶、招安、沿河湾八个公社的全部或大部

以及志丹县顺宁

安塞县化子坪等八个公社的小部

共117个生产大队

649个生产队

076户

678人

男女劳力71

543人。人口密度为34.8人/平方公里。
