摘要

修水县地处江西省西北边陲

总面积为4

570平方公里

其中山地面积3

322平方公里

故称为“八山半水一分田

半分道路和庄园”的丘陵山区县。水土流失是修水县近代历史的产物。据调查考证

水土流失严重的白乔公社驻地

街头有一座拱桥

系唐代兴建

光绪三年重修

属花岗岩结构的石拱桥

所以叫白石桥。抗日战争期间

河床日渐被白砂淤塞

人们就把白石桥改称为白沙桥;又如朱溪公社的琵琶潭

清朝末年仍潭深数丈

四季清流潺潺

宛如琴声

与群山相映争辉

景色盎然

是大桥四大风景之一。到现在

这里却成了一片白茫茫的砂石

河水干涸

稍旱即可断流。
