摘要

南坪是属于泥石流发育

暴发频繁的地区。解放以来

南坪县城曾多次遭受泥石流袭击

造成严重灾害。为了保障城区人民生命财产安全

四川省政府拨款

对南坪县城区泥石流进行了综合治理。在省防汛抗旱指挥部的具体部署下

中国科学院成都地理研究所对该区泥石流进行了考察

并同南坪县一起制定了城区泥石流综合治理规划和各单项工程的设计

县政府成立了泥石流治理指挥部负责管理和实施。整个治理工作从1980年全面开始

至1983年基本完成

历时四年

取得了明显效果。
