Abstract

Based on the raindrop spectum determined

the distribution function of raindropsize in southeast Fujian was established as follow: F = 1 - exp { - [d/(3.58I~(0.28 )]~(5.19) I~(0.11)}Meanwhile

the authors presented that the relationship between medial raindropdiameter

kinetic energy and rainfall intensity are D_(50) = 3.34I~(0.29) and E = 3.04I~(0.29)respectively. Finally

the authors hold that the type of rainfall has a certain impacton characteristics of raindrop.
