Founding Soil Type Database by using GIS and Remote Sensing Technique—A Case Study at the Pearl River Delta
The maps and material of the 2nd general soil investigation of China are the important data of land resources.Soil type map of the Pearl river delta area was analyed. The quality problems in soil type map and the difference of its classification system from Guangdong province were pointed out.The detail methods to renew soil type map are also introduced.By using GIS and remote sensing
the spatial and at tributive soil type database of the Pearl river delta area are founded.
